Against my better judgement, I started trading Facebook or Meta (FB) stocks two months ago. It was steady. They own the market on (mis)information and that seems to keep mankind happy. I actually ended 2021 with a couple of FB profitable trades and was happy. So what did I do? Went back for thirds. The company has money, makes money and people complain about it, yet stay on it. Or do they? Apparently a small fraction left. And the stock price plummeted 26%......VERY overdramatic. Ridiculously overdramatic. The best part was that this drop happened when most of us didn't have access to trading. You can call it a correction if you like, but it was a blatant attack. I hate Facebook as much as the next man, but call it what it is. Bull shit. Things happen, and I had a couple of stocks that skyrocketed for no reason, so I can take the good with the bad. I thrived last year when nothing made sense, so I need to continue to do so. I only reduced half my size in FB as I believe it will rise again as it works to condition minds to give up privacy and freedom of thought. And really, if the company (it won't) shut down and went to $0, maybe that's a loss I'm willing to take. But before you laugh at my pain.....what stocks are in your 401K???
